Women Send Sex Signals Through their Walk

Seductive walk is not linked to woman's ovulation as it was previously suggested by recent studies. Otherwise, scientists found that sexy sway of woman's hips doesn't mean that she is in her most fertile period.

Scientists at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada conducted a study, where women had to wear suits with light reflectors attached to their joints and limbs to find out the peculiarities of their walk. Along with the experiment that was filmed, volunteers had to take saliva test to determine their hormone level.

It was revealed that women who were ovulating at the time of the experiment had smaller hip movements and tried to keep their knees closer together.

When scientists asked forty male participants to rate each of the shown walks for the most sexiest, men pointed at women who were not in their fertile period of the cycle.

This may somehow contradict the findings of the earlier study where it was found that men are more responsive to women's sex signal when women are at their ovulation period. In a study about one month ago it was also revealed that strippers have more tips when they are ovulating.

Canadian researchers say that present study does not oppose the previous research. They explain that women at their fertile period send sex signals when they come closer to a potential mate, rather than when they are at a distance. Women send sex signals through pheromones and face expressions only to a mate she sees as an appropriate mate during her fertile period.

Otherwise, men respond to woman's attractiveness from the distance and therefore her gait becomes a signal for other men, who can be less appealing to her.Thus, walking less sexy during ovulation she is trying to protect herself from unsuitable partner, who might take advantage of her.
